Dana Scully is a fictional FBI Special Agent and medical doctor, best known as one half of the main investigative team in the science fiction television series The X-Files. Played by Gillian Anderson, Scully is initially assigned to partner with Agent Fox Mulder to provide scientific analysis and skepticism to his investigations of unexplained phenomena.
